Poet’s feet: A footprint on the world.

Free me from the prison of this
journey,
let me journey on the oasis of your
prints.
I do not beg for longevity, i am not
under your slavery
albeit you think i am.
Legacies unfold on me like scrolls
of beatitude;
a footprint on the world.
In a bit to console grief, i join Dave
Cocks to sing a bleeding voice.
“… Even every breath is a treasure
and in every storm, there are
hidden rainbows”.
Am i learning wisdom from life?
Life is a gift but what I give it
determines the size of my
footprint.
How big is the masterpicece we
are painting?
It should never be just a blank canvas.
Even when i become extinct,
i still have happy memory for
posterity.
